ScmDraft holds more than it looks like and has next to no manual. These are the ones that visibly change how fast you work.
| Ctrl+클릭 | Picks up the terrain under the cursor as the brush - but only while you are drawing, with the red rectangle showing, which is the opposite of what you expect. In Tileset Indexed it jumps to that coordinate. |
|---|---|
| Subtile 팔레트 | Shows the tiles that can replace this one. This is the thing to use when fixing up a cliff. |
| Subtile에서 Shift+클릭 | Draws the connecting tiles as well as the one you picked, and finds the symmetric counterpart when there is one - which is the fix for an edit that does not line up above and below. |
| Ctrl+드래그 | A free-form selection, like cutting something out. Works on the terrain layer and the copy/paste layer. |
|---|---|
| Shift+드래그 | Adds to the current selection; with Ctrl as well, adds a free-form region. |
| 일부 선택 해제 | There is no shortcut for it. |
Windows then Brush Palette is meant for saving an arrangement of terrain or units to reuse in another map, but pressing New saves one with no name at all. It survives until you close SCMDraft, so it doubles as a scratch clipboard.
A brush that looks dark registered the fog of war with it, which it always copies whatever the checkboxes say. Press Scenario then Disable Fog before registering and it comes out bright - and mind the names: Disable Fog is the one that reveals the map and Enable Fog is the one that hides it. It makes sense if you read it as turning the fog off.
| Ctrl+T · D · L · U · R | Jump to the terrain, doodad, location, unit and sprite layers. |
|---|---|
| Shift+방향키 / Ctrl+방향키 | Nudge the selected units by one pixel, or by eight. |
| Ctrl+숫자 | Selects that player - and with units selected, reassigns them to that player. |
| 트리거 목록에서 U · O · C · D | Move up, move down, copy, delete in the trigger list. Note that delete sits right beside move-down. |
Scenario then Place Map Revealers nudges revealers for player 2 and up slightly off position so they do not overlap, which leaves slivers of fog at the map edge. Place them as player 1, where they land exactly, then select them and change the player.
| 체력 옆의 작은 칸 | The fraction. Hit points are stored times 256 and this box sets the 1/256 part, so a Zergling with 35.5 health is possible. In game the current value displays rounded up and the maximum rounded down. |
|---|---|
| 음수 체력 | Typing a minus gives you 0, but entering more than 8,388,607 makes it negative: the real value is what you typed minus 16,777,216. |
That 8,388,607 boundary is the same story as the hit point ceiling lesson. The editor treating anything above it as negative is itself the evidence that the game reads that field as signed.
| 로케이션 복사 | Locations copy too - one at a time, and a paste fills the lowest empty slot, which is what you want when the numbering has gaps. |
|---|---|
| Display Options → Cloak Sprites | Draws sprites as cloaked, so you notice immediately when you placed a sprite thinking it was a unit. |
| 클래식 트리거 입력 | Players can be typed as numbers, where 0 is Player 1. Unit ids work in most places but not in CreateUnit. |
| Window → New Viewport | Opens another window onto the same map; Tile Horizontally or Vertically arranges them. |
| Debug 메뉴 | Overlays tile values, unit collision sizes and image sizes. Pressing Enable Debug again does not turn the options off, it locks the buttons - turn the options off first, then press it. |
